Wow! It's been awhile since I've written anything here and if I actually have any followers, I am sorry! I do hope to start my reviewing again soon, sometimes life gets a little crazy, ya know? So anyway, I don't really have any reviews yet, but I have been to a few places that definitely deserve some recognition. Izu Sushi in West End Long Branch is my new favorite Japanese, especially for special sushi rolls. It was Ichiban in Ocean/Eatontown? on route 35, but then my daughter revealed this secret place to me. Oh joy to find out that they had my all time favorite special roll! The Summer Roll-Shrimp tempura, with spicy crab, spicy mayo and fish roe, I love it, been there 3 times in the last 3 weeks! They also have a lunch special that comes with soup and salad and the special roll all for $12.95 I think. Very good.
Where else....where else....? M.J.'s in Tinton Falls (there is one in Middletown and a new one in Neptune as well). They have excellent wings that are available with different sauces like BBQ,  Buffalo etc...but my favorite is Honey Thai, sweet and a little spicy just right if not just a little messy, just as wings should be! I also tried their pizza there and it was quite good, thin crust and fresh mozzarella. Someplace that I definitely recommend if your are looking for a simple meal.

My Darling Daughter found a new breakfast place that she raved about the Corned Beef Hash, and I AM a sucker for a good Corned Beef Hash! Anyway, it's called Toast and it's on Cookman Ave. in Asbury Park. I am really looking forward to heading over there soon (before I leave for down south) and see for myself what all the fuss is about!

So, soon I will be outta here for awhile and I hope to keep up on some of my meals that I indulge in down in PH when I am there. You will be hearing from me soon Foodies!
